SIOBAHN PALMER SURFACE DESIGN

Hello critters, what would you like to know?

GRADUATE FROM NORWICH UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF THE ARTS, ENGLAND: FIRST CLASS HONOURS IN BA (HONS) SURFACE DESIGN.
I am a Surface Designer with a passion for painting, drawing, analogue photography, colour and Printed Textiles.
Inspiration for my work is found in Nature and my surroundings. I enjoy the process of manipulating my artwork, manually and Digitally, creating juxtapositions and patterns. I like to use a wide range of media throughout my drawing development to then take my work further into print, working on different kinds of surfaces, using multiple printing methods such as screen-printing and Digital.
I am greatly inspired by printed fabrics within Fashion and Interiors, which has driven me to create my own collection of printed silk scarves.
I am also very inspired by printed Interior Textiles and the idea of up-cycling vintage furniture and re-upholstering them with my printed fabrics.
My aim is to show diversity in my work showing my designs can be used across a full range of applications.

Please visit www.frontrowsociety.com where you can find a number of my digitally printed scarf designs.
